after recovering from an eating disorder I became pregnant, soon after, my sons and I found ourselves homeless, bouncing between shelters, and I saw that relying on social services could become a family legacy.
I made a promise that wouldn't be my story. through an extraordinary chain of events, I became a rags to riches story.
I started by fixing houses - the houses we lived in.
starting small, we lived in one part of the house and rented the more finished area, until I had enough money to complete the entire project.
there were months without windows or doors, or sinks and toilets.
we made it work.
this formula was my way to create an income & raise my family.
part of the story is in the tiny book, obesite, written as a fable, from my struggles with food and loneliness.
every one deserves a small space, and every Soul needs a garden.
