after recovering from an eating disorder and becoming pregnant, my twin sons and I found ourselves homeless. bouncing between shelters, I saw that relying on social services could become a family legacy.
I wouldn't let that be my story, and a story it is, as I went from rags to riches.
I did it by fixing broken houses - the homes no one wanted.
we lived in one part and rented out a finished area.
there were months without windows or doors, sinks or toilets.
I made beautiful homes, and people appreciated that. part of my talent is knowing how to make any space functional.
the other piece of my story is the book, obesite, written as a fable, from my struggles with food and loneliness.
every One deserves a small space, and every Soul needs a garden.
